BOYS & GIRLS BRIGADE

A brief history of the first South London Company of the Boys and Girls Brigade.

Our Story The First South London Company of the Boys and Girls Brigade was born from a vision held for over two decades by Mr. Isaac Quist Acton and Ms. Doreen Boateng, to nurture and mobilise young people through the Brigade ministry. The vision came to life during the Europe Presbytery’s 10th Anniversary, when a flag presentation on Thanksgiving Sunday sparked renewed enthusiasm and strong congregational support. Following this, interest grew rapidly, and with the guidance of Mr. Douglas Opoku Amankwa, the approval of Rev. Dr. Victor Okoe Abbey and his Session, and the endorsement of the National Executive Boards of the Boys and Girls Brigade, Ghana, the company was officially established. Today, the First South London Company stands proudly as the first Boys and Girls Brigade company within the Europe Presbytery-a testimony of faith, unity, and perseverance. BB!
